Lithe and delicate. Subtle fruit aromas/flavors of lemon, pear, underripe white peach. Perhaps some quiet jasmine notes as well. Winemaking technique certainly dominates with notes of sulphur compounds in addition to perceived SO2 on the nose and palate (knocking it down a peg in my opinion). Struck flint, crushed stones and gun smoke under deft barrel notes. Very refreshing however, quite lovely with more and more aeration. — 8 days ago
Pale white, thin legs, petrichor, lime, saline, fresh rhubarb and floral. Zinging acid, lemon juice, pith, long finish, creamy mouthful. — 6 days ago
Nose has mashed under-ripe raspberry, dried orange peel, crushed leafy greens and freezer burned vanilla ice cream.
Palate has semi-dried tangerine, under-ripe strawberry, under-ripe peach and a lightly sweet saline note to the finish.
In a better place than the 2019 version opened aside this evening.

To no surprise intense PYCM reduction dominates initially, before a sufficient decant has it give way to exotic stone fruits, citrus blossoms, minerals and some tertiary character. It has great texture, tension, balanced acidity and midpalate intensity that leads to a focused and precise finish. Few can showcase St. Aubin as well as PYCM ✨ — 13 days ago
