Morillon vom Opok
Biodynamic Chardonnay from Steiermark.
Cloudy, smokey, yeasty, sappy, fresh!
Bruised apples, ripe lemons, underripe pineapple, green mango. Plus some hay, flinty, smokey aromas. Juicy, fresh, enticing.
On the palate with vibrant acidity, with great freshness & depth. Rough around the edges, with a touch of cidery notes, a bit of VA. There’s a creamy touch to the mouthfeel. And a mineral hint. This is ultra drinkable and so delicious. Love it! — 2 years ago

Slovenia is becoming the best place for natural wines. This was great - easy drinking, slight funk, would buy again (had at Etta). — 6 months ago
Light, crisp, and sharp, with some slightly curious acidic funk. A hot summer day wine that’s still interesting. 2nd variety I’ve had from this producer - both on the strange yet delightful spectrum. — 9 months ago

Bergamont that evolves into a Granny Smith apple. A lot of texture. Delicious! Had in Copenhagen. — 25 days ago
