maraschino cherry, apple wood, all spice, and caramel — 6 years ago
100% Rye. Smooth, sweet (molasses) with a medium complex spice on the finish. Fairly balanced. At first it seems light for a whiskey but after a few sips the complexity on the finish builds greatly. — 6 years ago

Totally enjoyed this for an easy glass of red wine on a cold wintry afternoon- would buy again. — 5 years ago
Smooth, perfect for making rye Manhattans. One of my favorite small batch whiskeys. It is produced at National Historic site in the Hudson Valley. — 6 years ago
Amazing that’s it — 7 years ago
This is a go too but harder to find. One of the best in my opinion — 8 years ago
Great in a sazerac! — 8 years ago
Dark and rich. A little sweeter than I expected with the port. Would buy again. — 4 years ago
Twice this venomous viper has evaded review. She jumps out and thrashes, coils round and inculcates. A devil of a bite too! Seductive, deceptive nose of caramel creme, rosemary, bay leaf and cinnamon roll. Palatal acupuncture ensues, as you slowly succumb to the hot cinnamon oil and scotch bonnet burn of the first phase. Phase two brings cinnamon and grilled peach with brown sugar cobbles and scotch bonnet honey. And finally the nose and close converge in satin vanilla, cinnamon, cracked black pepper and ginger. .

A great bargain at $20, it is smooth neat and mixes well. — 7 years ago
Simply phenomenal. A Rye to seek out. Painfully smooth and glides down like butter. A 3 blend rye aged in Madeira/Sauternes/Port casks...the majority in Madeira. As for the painting it is a work from Todd Marinovich himself who is the protagonist here 🖕🏽 and a guy who many of my friends went to school with at SC. He’s been a tool a good part of his life but who knows what signposts dictate a man’s life path. His Dad’s approach to parenting is a cautionary tale for sure. I hope he’s turned it around. His painting cracked me up last night, I know that. — 8 years ago

Well my night just got better. Still have half a bottle from last fall. Fingers crossed I'll get my hands on one this year. This is the most bourbony rye I think I've ever had. It's all there- cherry leather, caramel, cigar box, corn bread. It's so much like Pappy 15 but a little hint of rye 😊
