2019 vintage. Delicious pear and green apple and floral notes. — 4 years ago
The bouquet on this is outstanding. Blue/black fruits, a hint of smoked meat, lavender, mint and spice. Slight flick of heat. Black cherry, brine, licorice, cedar on the palate. Linear acidity and smooth tannin. Good finish too. F’n solid! Perfect for V-Day steaks. — 6 years ago
My favourite Cotes de Bourg wine & after having the yummy 2010 & 14 recently I wondered if a 19 year old top vintage @ £98 would hold well & yes it sure didly 😉 88 points from Parker 🤣 but not worth it’s hefty price tag 🤑

Rivaner, SB, weissburgunder, Riesling and muscateller- it's wacky! Like an everlasting gobstopper, flavor changes with each sip. Speaks to my inner wine geek. — 9 years ago
Joachim Flick, Riesling Classic 2020
The nose is great! Lemon, lemon zest, a chalky touch, and some flowery notes. The palate is dominated by a laser beam acid drive which is complemented by nice a juicy lemon notes all along, a good width, a vivid mouthfeel and a tiny bitter, zesty note in the end, after a mouth-watering finish. This is a good yet simple dry German Riesling and I liked it very much — 4 years ago
So smooth. A flick of lime that softens into fruit. Really delicious, smooth and well balanced. Would go with any food, or delightful on its own. — 6 years ago

Mineral-forward aromas... limestone... and a little citrus pith. Bright acidity, crisp yellow apple and lemon peel, lingering minerals. — 5 years ago
He may not have been honest with me about this one. Said it was the Bodin on the menu, yet I didn’t point, I just said it, so perhaps it was a flick of the franglais that caused the faux pas. The thumb was properly positioned in his favor though. — 7 years ago

It surprised me. It’s got a tropical herbaceous thing. Like the tropical cocktail with just enough herb garnish to cut through whatever juice is in it. And bone dry. Do I have a metaphor for this...let’s see it is a movie that’s starts as a chick flick and then has a deep message but then still has a happy slightly cliché ending, and you’re okay with it. It’s the 13 Going on 30 of Chenins. Hop on hop in like the bunny on the bottle. — 7 years ago
Ah, €8 at the local Coop. It's delectable. Bright fruit, summer cherries, a little spice, but not heavy on the tongue. Overall a gorgeous wine with simple pasta, pork, and just drinking while watching a great spy flick on a chilly winter's evening. — 9 years ago

2020 vintage. Big body. Smoked ham nose. Resto pricing at $15 a btl. Those that know, know. Just like a cheesy horror flick, this wine just kept coming. 6.5.24. — 2 years ago
