1st release and production for 1 mille road on the naramata bench. Excited to have ordered and tried. Excellent winemakers who started laughing stock and have ventured to a single varietal production. This Pinot noir is wonderful will look forward to more of the rich smooth wine. @P A have to try — 6 years ago

In a constant casual search for birth year bottles, I came across this - I liked the smart label design and recognized the Eisele name, but wasn’t expecting much. Amazingly fresh and vibrant! Just starting to show elegant tertiary character of cigar box and incense, with a core of fresh berry and stone fruit. Palate is generous and velvety. A fantastic surprise and beautiful pairing for the old standby NY strip steak and roasted potatoes. — 6 years ago
The petite comes through, great wine! — 8 years ago
Rich and and mild. Delicious and perfectly balanced. Too bad they don’t make these any more. Should look for it. — 6 months ago
65/18/15/2 blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsaut and Petit Sirah. Moderate to high pigment extraction, purple red. Aromas and flavors of black pepper and raspberry. Ever so slightly tart, moderate skin astringency on finish with spearmint and alcohol-forward bitterness. Will mellow with decanting. Good value with a screw cap thrown in, yes! Drinks better than the last vintage I had of this. — 9 months ago
Remember all the odd but good wines from BD. Just a few bottles left and tasting very good — 5 years ago
Sourced from the Loess, Seven Hills, Holly Roller, Serra Pedace, Mill Creek Upland and Leonetti Old Block Vineyards, the red blend was aged for 22 months in French oak before bottling. The final blend is a smaller than usual portion of Cabernet Sauvignon (73%) and an unusually high portion of Malbec (22%) with just a touch of Cabernet Franc (5%). This wine needs a two hour decant before enjoying. Once aroused, this slowly unveils green bell pepper, blueberry compote, creme de cassis and sagebrush tones that fill this highly perfumed nose. The palate is decadent, revealing an exceedingly plush texture. With bright acidity and serious weight, the wine expresses copious dark fruits with sweet pipe tobacco, blueberry compote and dark chocolate shaving flavors. Seductive in its youth, this stunning new bottling will have an exceedingly long life ahead of it. Try to resist this beauty for at least another year. Drink 2020-2045- 97 — 7 years ago
It was a fine, common Australian shiraz. Leather nose and palate. It had a short finish but full of (leather) joy. — 7 years ago

Rhône-style blend of primarily Grenache (69%) with additions of Syrah (15%), Cinsault (14%) and Petite Sirah (2%). Bright red color with a small ruby core. Aromas of ripe red fruit, fresh herbs and dusty earth. Flavors of red raspberry, strawberry and currant fruit with additional notes of fennel seeds, tobacco and black pepper spice. Long earthy and spicy finish. No sign of oak aging. Bright, fresh and well structured. Nice chill-able Summer Red. Enjoyed at Three Oaks Steakhouse in Easton, PA. — 8 days ago
