Mineral driven, almost gravelly, with some stone fruit and citrus. A bit lighter and less concentrated than some of Red Newt’s best, but still super refreshing and tasty! — 2 months ago
Surprisingly not hot despite the high ABV! Fruity juicy and peppery with a hint of leather tobacconess. Delish! Very grateful to Steph and Brendan for mailing us some! — 3 months ago
Dried fruit, bit past its prime. — a month ago
Had one more of these in the cellar and decided to see what a few more years in the bottle did to this 50/50 cab/mourvedre blend. NOT disappointed. Definitely has gotten a lot softer, but the fruit is still very much there with persistent (albeit diminished) tannins. Could easily go a few more years but is pretty good right now. Well done, Cris! — 2 months ago
Cormorant Cellars Sauvignon Blanc. Sonoma.
Cloudy pale straw tells me that it's organic and I know it's unfiltered. What a refreshing idea from a Sonoma winery!
Served much too cold but there is a nice balance of acid and spice not present in most new world sauvignon blanc. A great expression of the fruit. — 4 months ago
