Interesting wine. Beautiful stemmy aromas of roses, red fruit, hint of licorice, blackberries, hint of dark chocolate. Concentrated and with a fine tannin that is persistent through the long finish. This is a very cool wine done in somewhat of a modern style. — 3 years ago
Drinking wonderfully. Mushrooms and earth balanced with red fruit. — 8 years ago
Smokey, dark cherry. Dark chocolate. Sweet fruit. This isn't some watery Bourgogne. The charred oak is a bit much for me at this stage in its evolution. Not sure if this will get better or fade. — 9 years ago

1995. First bottle from this producer. Typical 95 characteristics, lean and austere needing some air to wake it from sleeo. After 2 hours showed cranberry, spice, crushed rocks. The palate showed small red berries, minerals, mouth watering acidity and good length. Not a wine I would open for a newbie Burgundy fan (not in a bad way) as this requires some coaxing. — 10 years ago

Aroma includes lots of spices and salt, powerful. Dry and spicy. Complexity. Quite earthy. Domaine Vigot Fabrice Les Crais Gevrey Chambertin 2018 @2360, domaine, 230506 — 3 years ago

Browning color with red fruit and a hint of black pepper, my guess blind was a mid-1990s Côte Rotie. — 2 years ago
