The amazingly smooth red at Capofaro with lunch — 2 months ago
Blend of 80% Vermentino and 20% Chardonnay, pale straw lemon color with aromas of stone and tropical fruit, citrus and floral notes. On the palate flavors of pineapple, peaches and lemon with notes of herb floral spice. Good acidity, balance and structure, medium+ finish ending with fruit, floral and mineral character. Screw cap! Drink now with some sushi! — 19 hours ago
This wine looks yellow-gold with a greenish tint to it. The nose is quite aromatic, displaying a floral note along with massive citrus minerality. The palate has lemon, lime and grapefruit flavors joined by a wonderful salinity. The acidity is very fresh, but the mouthfeel has, overall, a rather soft touch. It’s great to find a Vermentino of this quality that’s made in America. Virginia is for Vermentino lovers, I suppose. — 3 months ago

What beautiful white wine. The nose is peaches, ocean, sage, grass, like hiking in a field in summer. Palate is mineral driven with good acidity. More stone fruit, sea salt, some more greenery. I love it. Better after 90 minutes of air and closer to cellar temp — 13 days ago
