Les Petits Riens

SI VINO ROSSO Petit Rouge 2015

Beautiful discovery ! A fruity and elegant indigenous red from Val d'Aosta in a beautiful bottle sealed with beeswax! The nose is floral and fresh, intriguing. I loved the silkiness in the mouth, with a delicate taste full with mountain berries. Everyone around the table loved it, I'll buy again as soon as I can. — 10 days ago

Trapiche

Pure Valle De Uco Malbec 2018

Delectable Wine
9.0

This juicy essence of Malbec boasts terrific violet lift to its pristine aromas and flavors of blackberry and spices. Fine-grained, sharply delineated and intense, this weightless Malbec, made entirely without oak, finishes savory and persistent. An energetic fruit bomb with great gulpability. $15.00 (Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, September 2019) — 15 days ago

La Kiuva

Arnad-Montjovet Nebbiolo 2016

Very few accessible nebbiolos are as consistently magical to me as examples from Valle d’Aosta and Alto Piemonte. This local clone, Picotendro, shows super alpine and earthy here, with a clarity of red fruit that ties the palate together. Significantly more restrained than its southern neighbors. For <$25 just simply gorgeous. — 4 days ago
