Really interesting and... fizzy! — 7 years ago
Pungent, interesting wine. Crushed flowers, overly ripe plum, sour cherries, ripe raspberries, maybe bark. Astringent. Serious wine. Open this way in advance. — 4 months ago
What a delicate/feminine style… Almost ankida Pinot-esk with a mandarin/tamarin finish. — 9 months ago

Paolo Bea dinner at Semo. All wines were prepared by opening and slow-ox, prior to service. Abbreviated notes due to the setting. The 2018 Rosso de Véo pours a deep garnet with wild dark fruit, high end dark dark chocolate cherry cordial, some VA giving it some balsamic notes. Sanguine with high tannin. Loving it with the pork ragu lasagnette made with semolina flour from the Bea farm. Drink now with patience, through 2038. Bottle No. 77/4626 — 6 months ago
Really good. Pricey, but rich, full-bodied, well-balanced. — 5 years ago
Fresh and elegant, fruit forward with low tannins. Good acidity balances out the 15% alcohol. Tasted even better day 2 — 6 years ago
Caught it at a good time in its life. A little reluctant at first, but opened up beautifully. Good structure, still plenty of fruit left, and nice oak spice. — 7 years ago
Blackberry, cherry, raspberry preserves, smoke, vanilla tobacco and oak. Good structure and soft tannins. — 8 years ago

Such a complex Timorasso. Orange and citrus and flowers on the nose. Citrus and white fruit flavors. Great wine. — 5 days ago
