Bday beer at Hopleaf. Love. — 2 years ago
In a can. Still awesome. — 8 days ago
Saison DuPont is one of my favorite beers ever, amazingly my first time having this one. Insanely good, fuller body, more lemon oil than cream, pepper, clove, lemongrass, bread. I can’t believe they don’t add spices to this. So freaking complex. Finish lasts well over 30 seconds with lemon, poppy seeds, hay, jasmine tea. Wish I could find more of this. — 2 months ago
This delicious ale from Bruges is most definitely one to keep in stock. This rich and intense dark Belgian ale is brewed with a subtle blend of specialty malts, which gives the elf an extremely dark color and a chewy, malty complex character. This quadruple ale has a warm, full bodied flavor, with essence of fruit. — 9 months ago
‘20. Has been awhile for me drinking the gueze. Very nostalgic nose that takes me back to drinking at Spuyten Duyvel circa 2007. — 6 months ago
Bottled 10/2021. An old favorite not had in years. I remember this being fresher with more citrus, playful. This edition is maltier, not quite as lively. Still delicious and a good match with homemade shawarma. To paraphrase Fernand Point— is it Saison DuPont that has changed, or have I? — 10 months ago

My last bottle from the Season’s set. 12 year old lambic. Carbonation has faded to maybe 1.5 volumes, almost like cask ale. Not as acidic as I expected, tons of cheese and funk, still rustic as ever with classic lemony funky lambic notes. Excellent, but I prefer this younger. Sweet spot for lambic for me is prob 3-4 years max from release. — 10 days ago
