Dec 21st, 2014Tremendous sour from Farm House. Full bitter flavor with lemon zest and cherries. Heavy and complex structure with great acid and a lingering sweet and tart finish.

Apr 2nd, 2016Aroma of fresh cherries and their pits, some caramel, and oak wood. Moderate softened acids, which is a refreshing change from the usual sharp lactic sourness in most American sours. Not sure I would label it as a Flanders ale, since it has little vinegar/acetic character. Authentic pure cherry flavor, which really is all I hope for. Oregon is really leading the way in the US for kriek, with Logsdon, Double Mountain, and Cascade paving the way. Doesn't quite reach the pinnacle of lambic producers but not too far off.

Oct 5th, 2014Beautifully balanced fruit, sour, tart, sweet and wood. There are a ton of cherries in this but they are graciously restrained. Logsdon is rapidly becoming my favorite domestic brewer.
