Quick! The wise men are coming! This big dog is barreling down the slope of my noodle toward the sterudel. Feels sour in a lot of ways, with a bitters and sarsparilla ‘zing’ but a solidly malty, Belgian core that resonates with its own dark, grainy brown sugar and cola synergy, and a roobios, cinnamon, baked apple, tea leaf, and cedar finish. This is old school depth and breadth, and damnit to hell, height! You never got me down Ben! You never got me down! #beer #bier #biere #birra #cerveza #christmasale #xmasale #stbernarduschristmasale #belgianale — 18 days ago
A Christmas gift from our other daughter. Cute glass came with a 4 pack of various ales. The UK phone 🇬🇧 box bank is also from her.
Sweet malts, spice and distinctive Belgian yeast aroma.
Sweet flavour with caramel, spice and dark fruits.

2018/19 very nice acidity. Bitter but not too sour. Went great with cheese pairing. — 21 days ago
Extra sour but very good. — 15 days ago
Lots of spices in flavour and nose. Cumin and coriander. One of the best gins I've had. — 18 days ago
Another beer from the holiday package. 🎁
A nice nose with toasted malt, dark fruits and a yeasty background.
Flavourful, dark, rich Belgian malts, creamy mouthfeel and dark fruit.
It opened up more as it became warmer - some spicy notes I hadn't noticed earlier.
This is an excellent Belgian strong dark.
