Wow! It's the colour of rust and has hints of sherry on the nose, however, it drinks like a fine wine. Very interesting though I have no frame of reference so its a learning curve for me. Need to try another bottle before making too many judgements — 24 days ago
Drinking well now, but probably a bit past it's best. Still showing the imherent quality though. Quite delicate bit still packing a nice punch and a long finish. — a month ago
At first opening this felt slightly young, so after decanting I hoped it would come out. In reality it came and went and left me thinking it’s probably past it’s best. Nonetheless, well made and before losing its tannins it was well balanced too. Nice fruity nose with a smoky accompaniment. — a year ago
Really love it. Mellow and fruity. Great balance of acid and flavour — 2 months ago
Cracking bottle from JLT. Drank alongside a bottle of bad boy (also 2015) for comparison. Both represent well, though the Virginie is a class ahead in all aspects. — 3 months ago
Fantastic nose and wonderful and balanced high notes and fruit finish which goes on longer and longer as it matures in the glass.
Still lacks some power in the fruit, with which I would give a higher score. Nonetheless, Thuenvin has definitely arrived in Pomerol. — a year ago
