One of the very finest wines of the vintage. Beautiful, rich, lush body and mouthfeel. Lots of dark berry fruit nicely integrated with toasty oak and a hint of creosote. Delicious now and should remain delightful over the next 10+ years.

Really on point. Brett and vegetal quality actually find great balance in this challenging vintage. Perhaps a function of better fruit making it to the pavilion. Either way I imagine this is what most young Bordeaux tasted like pre-1980s.

Silky smooth nose, velvety and soft, with forewarned black currants, just a LITTLE pepper, dark cherry and maybe a little pine forest floor? Some sediment and still grippy tannin, but starting to really loosen, with prominent ripe red fruits of dark , brooding plum, cherry and dark fruits, with hints of graphite, wood, and smoke over a still zingy finish.
