2017 WS wine of the year. Purchased 6 bottles on release at a decent price...forget the retail price now though!!
One hour decant(min sediment). A forbidding dark crimson color. Served on the cool side. On the nose: smokey vanilla, dark cherry, baking spice, and a slight spearment menthol at the end. Taste: Hello!..not shy....cherry liqueur, cedar, graphite. A medium body, soft tannins, with a prune/vanilla dry medium plus finish. Tried a year ago, and working better for me now with some age. — 16 days ago
Very dark ruby color. Lots of blackberry and hints of cherry. Almost doesn’t taste like a Cab at first sip. Some nice spice and earth in the middle. Finishes smooth. — 18 days ago
Red fruit, little bit of herbs, spice. Really great! — 20 hours ago
Nose of apricot and melon, body of minerals with good fruit, especially for a 10 year old Chard — 21 days ago
Wow, just twisting the top it had that smell of tobacco, leather, plum, and ripe red berries that I knew I was going to glug down promptly! Get some. — a month ago
