Schloss Lieser

Thomas Haag Niederberg Helden GG Riesling 2013

Pop and pour. On thr nose: soft petrol, peach, grapefruit, herbs, soft leesy notes. On the palate: good acidity, grapefruit, steely notes, peach, ok density, but a touch thin and erring on the side of shrill on the mid. This fell off a bit quickly...was hoping for more length. Still, for my experience, almost worth it for the nose alone, and very, very good. — 20 days ago

Castello di Amorosa

Don Thomas Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

Oh this is nice!!!!! Our Anniversary Dinner Wine for #31. This wine has a lot to offer….blackberry, black currant, blueberry, violet, toast, smoke, forest floor, and perhaps a bit of strawberry. The tannins are super smooth. Went great with the Chateaubriand!!! — 6 days ago

Fairly ok, not typically well with Japanese food. — 19 days ago

Pattes Loup (Thomas Pico)

Vent d'Ange Chablis Chardonnay

Unusual yet inviting nose. High toned fruit. Fairly unctuous for a village Chablis. Definitely a style unto its own. — 15 days ago

Gerrie Family Estate

Thomas Gerrie Seven Hills Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2016

Pnp but I'd recommend opening 30 plus minutes before drinking. Initially somewhat muted and one note, after 30 or so min, this really started to shine. Plum, blackberries, and earthy notes. 60% Cabernet sauvignon, 28% merlot, and 12% Cabernet franc — 5 days ago

At $12 per liter, this is an incredible value. Floral & tart. Paired perfectly with pickled carrots & spicy chicken. — 21 days ago

Müller-Thurgau 2019

Ein Jahr liegen macht ihn einen Ticken anders, muskatnotiger, ohne die Frische zu verlieren. Schöner Alltagswein. — 25 days ago
