Excellent porch wine to watch the sunset!! — 2 years ago
Deeper ruby , narrower rim , just touch of garnet . Quite deep and rich , deeper darker fruits , quite mineral. More cedar and dark cassis , grafite , iron fillings , touch of mint quite ripe rounded but present tannins . Good balanced acidity, robust but very long on the palate . Also needs more time really though is surprisingly enjoyable now because of the roundness of the fruit and ripe tannins , better in 10 years and will last well over the next 20- 25. Bigger boned , fatter and more robust and powerful than the Lafite 2000, though still hugely complex and satisfying. — 3 years ago
Another good Bethel Heights Pinot Noir. Great floral notes and a clean finish. — 2 months ago
More residual sugar than I remembered. Brioche finish, delicate bubbles — 7 months ago
Dark cherry, boysenberry upfront with a long finish with tobacco and chocolate notes. — 9 months ago
Normally a huge Iron horse bubbly fan but this was more average than fantastic. Still a bottle I’d recommend but I will likely go to other bottles. — 2 years ago
Excellent on a stand alone basis or in mimosas!! Slight brioche, caramel, butter, and a hint of apricot. Just as good at bottle opening as it was a couple hours later! — 3 years ago

Green apple, iron, and strawberry. — 10 months ago
I love this vintage now. Cedar, camphor and pine as well as dry roses and pot pourri. Long finish full of elegance. The marker of Pauillac for me is blood sausage/iron/cured meat and here it was just exploding. Great bottle, classic, perfect for a blind tasting. — 2 years ago

T’is good, but definitely a little sharp on the apple…. I have another bottle, and I will definitely drink it. But, I prefer some of their other offerings. — a month ago
