MR Mountain Wine Moscatel 2018

Bringing back Malaga from the dead, Telmo Rodriguez does it again.
Stylistically this is halfway between Sauternes and Pantelleria - combining the waxy creamy botrytis character with the extravagant exotic notes of Passito di Pantelleria. Candid apricot, orange peel, a pinch of spice, overripe peach.
Unabashedly sweet & indulgent but beautifully balanced and nicely poised.
A killer desert wine and quite delicious.

Valderiz Ribera Del Duero 2020

Such a great Ribera del duero and a good example of the region. Plum, fig, and generous earthy spice like coffee, licorice, and herbs. Brawny and rustic, with good concentration and absolutely awesome with Latin food. — 3 months ago

— 3 months ago
