Tangent Pinot Grigio — 8 years ago
Vanilla forward, lots of tobacco, slight dark fruit later on the palate. Consistently tangent with white cheeses. — 10 years ago
Crisp but not too dry — 10 years ago
So pretty! Harmony of dried rose, cherry aroma. Discreet fruit with mineral tangent and youthful tannic finish. Emotional — 11 years ago
Purchased without my usual research, and that may have been an error.
The finish departs off on a tangent, leaving your palate with a slight bitter note. All other elements are fine. Wifey likes it more than I do.
Day 2 and I need to consume a small portion of humble pie. Increased my score from 89 to 91. Much better today. Now warm, soft and very approachable. It’s a buy 😉 — 4 years ago
Despite the cagily not helpful nature of the tech sheet which would not give me the percentages of cab s, Merlot, cab f and sangiovese in this I’m not mad at it. Juicy with good acid and I love a bit of acid. More red fruit than black, and lots of baking spices that have been socializing with olives. I hate olives but these olives had enough character to liven up the mix without being an overwhelming note. What I’m saying is these are the only olives I will ever associate with. Sorry that was a tangent this wine is yummy and on the lighter side of cab blends. — 8 years ago

Honey suckle nose with a 7up mouth feel and palate — 9 years ago
Had this beauty when I proposed to my fiancé! 1996 vintage brut by De Venoge out of Epernay! Age has done this champagne well. Nice creamy mouth feel, delicate, very fine bubbles, lemon zest, mousse, golden apples, toasted nuts.. arguably one of the best 1996 champagnes out there. A prime example of how a great growing year and proper aging after digorgement, like a 15+ year old vintage Cristal or Bolinger. Can't wait to try their vintage Rosé extra brut 2002, and their 2006 Rosé Brut that are also 93 rated! They both probably need several more years to mature so that the citrus acidity has lessened a bit and all the complexities emurge. Back from my tangent, try this champagne before there aren't anymore left! $199 at total wine for the gift set! — 11 years ago
Interesting and probably a good value — 11 years ago
Paired perfect with prime rib! Smooth and just the right top of tangent. — 12 years ago
Perfect hue for the Golden state. Nose is honey, cucumber and something funky. Maybe ‘pool toy’? Flavors are luscious. Streaks of acid and bitterness pair perfectly with the melon, apricots, yellow plums and honeysuckle. Pretty round in the mouth. It’s a fragrant and tasty CA Viognier. Hasn’t lost any freshness 5 years on. And it’s SIP Certified Sustainable to boot. — 6 years ago
Lovely textures of spice and apricots. But fresh. Another Emilia is genius. Sad you don’t see these wines at more shops in NY. But that’s another tangent... — 7 years ago
Lovely, buttery Chardonnay. brought this wine to a lunch with friends and everyone enjoyed it. I am off to the store to buy several more. — 8 years ago
Great warm weather wine. — 10 years ago
Tart yet creamy. Notes of tropical and citrus fruits. What a treat for summer! — 11 years ago
Conrad Green

Fantastic. Bats way above its reputation. Pear, rock pool, slate and salinity on the nose. Beautiful sweetness and balance in the nose. Intense and tangent. Really good stuff — 2 years ago
