The Federalist Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon

Very fruity! Strange fragrance. Didn't really enjoy it. Debated whether or not to finish. Expected more of a full body traditional cab.

Ok. Not great but would drink again if it was offered

Drink it in december 2018, it was really good, but 1 or 2 years older would have been perfect.

Tastes purple. Cassis. And Benjamin Franklin.

Bit fruity to begin with but then gets better.

Yeah, it's fairly cheap wine from Publix. But it's Independence Day, it's named Federalist, and it has freakin' Benjamin Franklin on the label. It's really not bad; fairly fruity with decent darkness, and some kinda floral action going on. Almost like violets or lavender or something. Dang, I need a better-trained palate. But regardless; 'Merica! F-yeah! Happy Independence Day, my fellow winos!🍷🗽

Nice dark garnet color. Aromas of black cherries, cassis and baking spices. Good flavor, lots of red and black fruit with an oaky finish.
