Not my favorite wine. Soild — 5 years ago
Still standing tall! Amazing Bordeaux blend from one of Australia’s preeminent wineries! Very balanced, great forward fruit and a super-long finish! Had with aged beef - to die for!! — 6 years ago
Had this with blue cheese and pears... delicious! Sweet, but not pure sugar. Would definitely have it again. Bought at Meijer. — 7 years ago
Tall grass. Mellow with good spice. Good with dark chocolate. Maybe a little leathery with notable tannins. A bolder merlot. Would buy again. — 8 years ago
Poppy, bright notes of cherry. Light with flinty undertones. — 8 years ago
Just great. No reason to describe it any other way or buy less than a case. Thank you Mike Smith… — 3 months ago
This was so good at the winery, but different a couple months later with the bottle we brought home. Still good, though, but not as. — 4 years ago
Lime pith swells with shallot, lemon peel and lemon-poppy bread, seashell, chive, carnation, orchids, candied grapefruit peel bouquet. Dry and enticing entry, has a Chablis like austerity, but rounder, showing chamomile and caper with lemon juiciness. .

Tall Grass. Smooth, nice mix of toasty notes with fruit and acid. Classic chardonnay. Would buy again. — 6 years ago
Only back home for three days since our grand excursion, oh Burgundy how I miss you and your beautiful landscapes with tiny villages.
(I don't miss how tall my damn grass grew in the lawn during our absence!)
Flinty nose with beautiful white flowers.
Flint, minerals, lime-honey on the palate, acidity is noticable but not distracting. Finish is like forever. We will attempt to restrain ourselves from drinking this whole bottle this evening, as based on recent Saint Aubin tastings, this will continue to evolve with air and patience. I feel this bottle is still young, many years ahead for enjoyment.
Thanks @David T for turning me towards Lamy... I'll be back for more!
24hr Update: So creamy, beautiful Chardonnay fruit, yellow apple, faint flinty notes today, acidy is still noticable, and enjoyable. I'm not sure I like it more or less than the initial approach, it's a different, also great, wine today. — 8 years ago

Very good wine — 8 months ago
One of my new favorites. Smooth yet inexpensive. — 10 months ago
2005 holding up well. Morel, shiitake, crimini, and baked plum, with baked grape for good measure, poppy blossom, squash bread, baked squash blossoms, and bresaola. Rich palate with firm tannin shows oolong, strong graphite core, nutmeg, fine Connecticut tobacco, pepper, dill, and a touch of anise. Bold for its age, and vibrant. Fruits emerge on a long finish; dusty cherry and cocoa, dried black currant, powdered blackberry and cassis.
