2019 vintage. Last tasted 2.23.23 on the heels of tasting the 2018 (9.4). Was not overly impressed with the 2019 at that time (9.0). Did 8 months make that much difference or was it just a "closed" bottle? Dunno. This bottle of the 2019 showing much better. Big charcoal/smoke, dark cherry and dark plum driving the bouquet/flavor vehicle. Medium body. Some delicate cocoa nibs/espresso notes on the 35 second finish. Would like something else wafting through the rafters on the finish but at this price point and at this stage of the age game, that's a tall ask. Ridiculously underrated Margaux producer for the cashish that gets enjoyed whilst we're all waiting for the big guns to come into their own. Don't forget to pick up a few bottles/case. 11.6.23.

2019 vintage. Much softer and less concentrated than the 2018 vintage (bangin!!) tasted 3-4 days/nights ago. A little tight but not opting to repurchase this vintage. Picking up more of the 2018 even tho the 2019 higher rated. Just. Not. Seeing. It. A pity. 2.23.23
