2008 vintage. A bit yeasty at the onset but that receded into the background relatively quickly. Plenty of power/acidity afoot with no danger of this getting flabby in this decade-or the next. Time for something from France.

I’ve generally not been a huge fan of Taittingers N/V, but after a series of Croatian wines, it seems much better. Just goes to the saying, everything’s relative! .
