Crystal coloration, with hints of yellow colored deep within. Nose is actually prominent, with notes of tart stonefuit, specifically peach, African cucumber, and sharp acidity despite the age. Palate doesn’t show any age or loss of acidic zing! Fresh and dry, with a long tingle that lasts long after the sip. Bought on our honeymoon, tasted and purchased on site, and popped to celebrate the birth of our first child. — 7 days ago
There are very few moments in my time that have had a greater call for Champagne than when I opened this, on June 3rd 2025. My football team here in the UK, Oldham Athletic, promoted for the first time in my life, which I watched at Wembley. I know this seems quite trivial and meaningless to most of you, but I must document it here, so please indulge me. Up the Latics!
As for the wine, this was a hasty cellar pull and I didn’t want anything OTT. But isn’t Taittinger fantastic? For me, one of the best Grandes Marques pound-for-pound. This bottle had a bit of age too. Really superb, drinkable stuff. — 17 hours ago
Nice light style Pinot Noir. Fruity and light and best well chilled. Good with pizza and casual food like wings, nachos, etc. lovely fruit. Good under $35 value. — 18 days ago
Small fine bubbles with yeast, lemon, almond, and a touch of tropical fruit. Fresh and light. — 2 months ago
The best I’ve had. Light, balanced, simply amazing. — 7 days ago
Beautiful depth and density to the fruit. Much more finesse than the Brut, and texturally quite close to the Comte de Champagne, but the pinot adds heft. At cellar door in Reims. — 2 months ago
