Very smooth flavorful Pinot noir. Good vanilla notes. Great inexpensive table wine. — 4 years ago
Very nice surprise for me given my expectations were low for this generic high priced Burgundy. But we were aurprised by the generius red fruit, cherries, nice depth and volume, good acidity and silky tannins with a decent finish in terms of length and flavor. Well balanced and even if the price tag is high, there was some wine in there. Gorgeous. Our son’s dog named “Pinot, (yeah we are passionate about anything that is Pinot) seems to appreciate also.

— 5 years ago
Beautiful entry-level cuvée by one of the great artisans of the Northern Rhône.
Simple and straightforward Syrah. Nose and attack on fresh black fruits (blackberries, blueberries). Clear neat body, enhanced with touches of violet, white pepper, and slightly minty, characteristic of Syrah ... Final which unfolds admirably with delicately chiseled tannins. Nice bottle to open as an aperitif, on a cold meats and cheese board, ideally accompanied by some fruit and nuts, and a piece of fresh baguette.
— 6 years ago
Slightly bitter fruit punch with a little funk. Ideal for glugging, though the fruit really comes to the fore with simple food - there’s still thinking under the fun. Thanks Steve. — 8 years ago
Top notch simple chard. Smooth buttery body with inoffensive finish. Some floral notes without too much oak. Very quaffable. — 5 years ago

Clear, pale ruby to purple in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary aromas of raspberries, hibiscus, and fresh strawberries, on the palate, it's dry with medium plus acidity, high tannins, medium alcohol, light body, and pronounced primary flavors of sour cherries, black tea, and pomegranates with a long finish. This wine is simple, but with enough acidity to balance the fruit. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 2 hours ago
