Blend of Aglianico, Montepulciano, and Barbera made by Steve Matthiasson. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in neutral oak. Light and refreshing with good acidity and fruit, light tannins, and only 11.5% alcohol without discernible residual sugar. The 1L bottle and crown cap are appealing. Would serve chilled as a picnic wine. $21.

Light cranberry color. Not much aroma. Hint of berry. Flavor is dry and medicinal. Bit of elderberry and cranberry flavor. Stem-y. Euro as you’d expect from them. Fairly simple, but interesting.
