Happy Easter!!

20+ minutes open in the bottle. Lovely dark, translucent red color. Bell pepper, herbs, and rhubarb on the nose. More rhubarb, cranberries, and subtle raspberries on the palate. Similar to a French Morgon. Excellent with Easter ham! Medium depth and surprisingly long finish.

PnP. Lovely red color. Paired nicely with spicy Italian Ragu and pasta. Similar to the ‘14 Neal from Friday night but more tannins and fruit. — 3 months ago

Village Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

This is such a cool Napa Cab, med plus body, med alcohol (13%), high acidity. But still a proper Cab. It’s elegant and well structured with bright fruit. So so pure, drinks well while young. — 3 months ago

PnP. Dark red color with subtle bricking. Seems modestly over the hill on the nose and palate. Could be in a weird spot. Lacked fruit and depth. Still very enjoyable. — 13 days ago

Very subtle gold color. Lemongrass, grapefruit, and subtle Riesling elements on the nose. Same on the palate. Less acidity than I was expecting. Good depth, medium finish. — 3 months ago

Can’t rate. Maybe the wine is in a weird spot or my palate was affected by the 4 sessions of snow shoveling, but if I had a blindfold on I would have thought this was a red. Somewhat restrained on the palate with lots of steel elements and some earth. Color was great, as was the cork, so must be me. Usually one of my favorites! — 3 months ago
