Can’t rate. Maybe the wine is in a weird spot or my palate was affected by the 4 sessions of snow shoveling, but if I had a blindfold on I would have thought this was a red. Somewhat restrained on the palate with lots of steel elements and some earth. Color was great, as was the cork, so must be me. Usually one of my favorites! — 7 months ago
Lighter but also has depth. Very good on its own but also would be great with food. Hints of blackberry on the nose — 6 days ago
Always complex and lovely! Great summer wine! See previous notes on previous vintages, — 2 months ago
Truly, on of the Napa great wines. With the myth himself, Steve Matthiasson. — 5 months ago
Cloudy as fermentation on skins for 10 days. Green apple, hint of lime, lemon, mineral. March 2026. — 5 months ago
This is such a cool Napa Cab, med plus body, med alcohol (13%), high acidity. But still a proper Cab. It’s elegant and well structured with bright fruit. So so pure, drinks well while young. — 7 months ago

Happy Easter!!
20+ minutes open in the bottle. Lovely dark, translucent red color. Bell pepper, herbs, and rhubarb on the nose. More rhubarb, cranberries, and subtle raspberries on the palate. Similar to a French Morgon. Excellent with Easter ham! Medium depth and surprisingly long finish. — 5 months ago

2022. Full bodied. Great but not too opulent nose. Lovely acidity and balanced. Macadamia nuts, lemon and something else I can’t name. Love. — 10 days ago
