A Pinot Noir- Nebbiolo blend at 12% alcohol. Both varietals found in same vineyard in Los Carneros so Matthiasson made a blend out of it. It worked for me. Aromatic, light body, only 8% Nebbiolo but it was prominent on the palate.

A bit less acid than I was hoping for, but I agree with Matthiasson’s winemaker note: “the Nebbiolo is unmistakable on the finish, with the silky but firm tannins and noble bitterness”
