Golden Apple and pear flavors. Full mouthfeel with medium acid. Great Alsatian blend. — 7 years ago

Bright aromas tangerine and citrus with a touch of pear. Juicy on the palate with tons of slatey minerality. Bright acidity balanced by lemon and lime fruit. Medium clean finish. — 11 years ago

Barossa Chardonnay mixed with Adelaide hills Pinot on skins amazing cloudy orange colour, surely whole bunch. Tastes like a Chardonnay to me but with that crazy pale orange. Natural wine so I read, delicious. 11.7%, no sulphides, dry long finish, just right acidity, citrus with a hint of strawberry/pear something? — 5 years ago
I thought it was very good. Hard to determine the variety though as it was a bit too acidic for my liking. But with food it was lovely — 7 years ago
Excellent bubbly, very high quality. — 8 years ago
A total surprise! Nice body, medium acid, some decent tannins. Smokey, and a little meaty with crushed red fruits. — 10 years ago
So surprising and interesting! Definitely worth getting for summer months. Can taste the muscat but it’s lovely and dry and very balanced. — 3 years ago
The 2013 Smith Haut Lafitte probably has one over the Domaine de Chevalier at the moment: a little more fruit and amplitude, certainly more delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, one of the spiciest Pessac-Léognan wines, yet there is just a scintilla of under-ripeness right on the finish. But at least there's personality in situ. Tasted at Bordeaux Index's 10-Year On tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, August 2023)

Earthy, cocoa, chalky and a scintilla of spice. — 6 years ago
Butterscotch, smoke and earth, and surprisingly a scintilla of mint. This wine from Mallorca was great with tapas @ Oloroso in Philadelphia. — 8 years ago
Red and black roses shine across a black cherry lake with a cinnamon-cedar island over which hovers a basil and raspberry mist. Medium mouthfeel, shimmering with tart cherry, frozen dark chocolate, cracked coffee bean, cherry dust, dried bing cherry and rose petal with ash, red tea, dried cranberries and the absolute scintilla of micro-tar. Intense interplay, but as delicate as Pinot in its complex minutiae. #brunellodimontalcino #brunello #italianwines #montalcino #Renieri #redwine #sangiovese #zeus — 9 years ago

A crowd pleaser. A touch of Cali cab sweetness A no send crushed rose petals and blackberry. A scintilla of tobacco and lavender. A little wood on the palate. Well restrained. Drinking well - with lots of life left. NI’m brush on this one — a year ago
