I had the 2005 vintage many years ago before I had as much experience with wine and rated it a 9.9. With added knowledge I would agree with the majority and rate this lower.

Classic left bank. Nice dark fruit on the nose. Blackberry with a scintilla of dried cherries. Elegant and well balanced. Tannins well integrated and a long finish.

Quite the intensity in this wine! I couldn't believe how flavor dense this wine was: the red berries and licorice went on and on...
