Just the best Moscato d'Asti money can buy, you'll never have more enjoyment packed into another bottle!
Our final bottle of the 2017 vintage.

On the Lawn at Tanglewood this evening with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, without orchestra or conductor 😉. Three humble souls playing an all BEETHOVEN program (Piano Trio No. 3 in C minor (Opus 1, No. 3) and Symphony No. 2 in D (Opus 36, arr. for piano trio by Beethoven)) with a few of the best players of instruments containing strings, Yo-Yo Ma (cello), Leonidas Kavakos (violin) and Emanuel Ax (piano). A true delight for lovers of Classical music this evening! — 5 years ago
I actually enjoy this more than the technical score I give it...helps the price point is around $35.
Need to save some of the Davies Estates Chardonnay for more Harbison tomorrow night.
The Laurent Perrier La Cuvée with carry us through the rest of the cheese course. Picks up the dry Lattebusche Piave Vecchio white cheese better than the Davis Estate Chardonnay, as it should! Gives the night both side one & side two of our cheese LP.
I will let my previous notes stand.

Even though we brought spilts with us on our trip, I still missed it. There just aren’t many better starters to kickoff a weekend night. Cheers! 🥂
Many previous notes still apply.
The next time you have BSR as an aperitif and your are having red wine after, save some to close out your night. The BSR ascends from 1080p HD to OLED 4K on your palate. For that matter, any quality Champagne will do. — 7 years ago
A lovely bottle from 2005. Bought in 2009 to save for a special gathering. Last night was time to uncork in honor of our early family Christmas gathering. — 8 years ago
Day 18 of our 24 day Amazon cruise. Opened this way too soon. It was huge! Should have decanted. Lots of potential here but save for a later date. — 9 years ago
This is the Yarra Valley rosé. Could easily pass as a red wine, it's got power and is well balanced. Red fruits and spice. A delight to drink with a chill on a warm evening. Very good value. — 9 years ago
Still vibrant and full bodied, the ‘07 Malbec Argentino from Catena Zapata is loaded with blue and black fruit, oak and leather. Despite its boldness, there are layers and structure to keep it from being overpowering, both from mild tannins and minerality. Enjoy at our next asado or save for a few years. (5/24h — 2 years ago
Corey got a few of these for me for Christmas. Drinking our first bottle now, planning to save the rest for a bit. Gave it 1.5-2 hours of air. Slight cloudiness. Nose is intense with black licorice, wool yarn and blueberries. Fruitiness on the palette is there but emergent earthiness and a hint of mint. It has tart acidity and a mild bitterness that I don’t dislike and subtle barnyard funkiness. Medium tannin. Enjoyable bright long finish. — 5 years ago
Always rock solid. I like the style even better than the technical score.
On our friends deck finally breathing clean air now that our fire is much better. Thank you firefighters. We drank a cheers in honor of your strength & devotion to save others.
Precious notes stand.

Champagne is for celebrating, not that I need a celebratory reason to open a bottle as I am hooked on champagne. 💉
However, after installing 27 solar panels and waiting an additional seven weeks for my Tesla, I/we have almost erased our carbon footprint. Finally picked it up today. I believe we all need to do our part to save the glorious vines that bring so much happiness to our lives. 🍷🥂👍
As for the Baron Fuentes, the is a very good Champange and is perhaps the best QPR out of Champagne at $24.99.
Bright lemon, lime, grapefruit w/ sugar, bruised red apple & pear, touch of ginger & cider, bread dough, baguette crust, sea spray, white spice with some palate heat, sea fossils, grey volcanic minerals, spring flowers, lilacs and yellow lilies. The acidity is bright, crisp and lively. The finish is smartly polished, well balanced and persistent for minutes.
Whoo hoo! So close to carbon free! 🍾🥂 — 7 years ago

Our 8yr anniversary dinner with a bunch of family. This was one of our go to week night wines while dating so had to save a 2010 to try wine some age on it.
Holding up very well for a $13 wine. Secondary flavor profiles emerging. Surprisingly very good at 8yrs old for an entry level rioja. — 8 years ago
12' Pinot from SOS on the shelves at $19. Either they need to fire their manager or they're insanely charitable. I drank this out of a coffee mug and didn't once have a complaint. — 9 years ago
We were advised to decant and we were glad we did. The 2009 is a big cab! Flavors are coming into focus after 1 hour: at first I detected spicy, peppery, woody notes and now we taste currant and smell vanilla. It is definitely mellowing out, yummy. It's getting hard to save for our lamb dinner. I'd put this in my cellar again. — 10 years ago
Intense without being too much; blackberry, prunes, tart cherry, and pomegranate. Tightly coiled but still offering up a lot of intriguing flavors and aromas. Will probably save our other bottles to see how it develops but not mad that we opened this by any means — 4 years ago
Pulled from my cellar where is has rested since release. This is a carnival of characters with dark fruit, teriyaki, bacon fat, olive tapenade, moist forest floor, hollowed out decomposing log, leather, coco, and coffee. Tannic still with plenty of acid; the finish is as long as the day. Our assessment, considering the abundant secondary characteristics, that this was on the decline and opening now was a bit of a fortuitous save. And while I don’t disagree that now is the time to drink these wines, Day 2 was noticeable brighter with fresher blue fruits and structure even more pronounced. Overall conclusion, these are far from going dead anytime soon but why wait? This was a fabulous bottle and I’m so pleased we were able to share with a dear friend. — 5 years ago
Another summer guzzler for $10.00, winery over $20.00 though. More acidity than the Mathis but not as much flavor. Either way both are winners at this price & release price. Save your money for big time cabernets, drink inexpensive Rose
Winery notes,
Crafted from 100% Pinot noir, the fruit for our Rosé is intentionally selected with an eye towards cooler sites which retain juicy, vibrant acidity. Stainless steel fermentation to retain the bright, fresh fruit character.
"Ethereal aromatics of magnolia, hibiscus, wild strawberry, jasmine and rainwater blend with slightly savory hints of lemon thyme and white pepper on the nose. The seamless palate of apple (think Envy or Pink Lady), slight honey notes and juicy acidity make this a refreshing, but serious Pinot noir rosé."

Celebrating 5 years with my bride at our usual joint, Wild Olives in Rosemary Beach.
Excellent rosé champagne that my wife & saved for a couple of years. We were planning on drinking it last year for her 30th birthday but since she was pregnant we opted to save it for our 5th anniversary. Very rich and expressive with nice minerality, tangerine, grapefruit, and assorted citrus notes. — 7 years ago

Drowning our sorrows in the loss of the OU Texas game today. WTF ! Save us Lord Churchill — 8 years ago
We are all aware of the fires ravaging Napa & Sonoma. Regusci survived with basically a little something more than scorched property as shown in the top photo. One of the lucky ones. The picture on the left shows Laura Regusci and her young son Andrew with fire extinguishers having fought property flames to protect their buildings. In crisis, vintners really come together. That’s Rob Mondavi Jr. helping them with the 17 vintage. I emailed with Jeff Smith of Hourglass and they were helping follow vintners crush grapes etc. at their property who were still without power etc.. Napa/Sonoma is so community strong! The real heroes in all this are the Firefighters in bottom photo. They walk right into the frontline of flames without a second thought. They have been working in some cases three straight shifts a day and then pulling up only a piece of the ground to get some sleep. Some of these Firefighters lost their homes in the fires as well. If you’d like to support these brave Firefighters who have lost everything while at the same time fighting to save others, the Int’l Association of Firefighters has set up a fund for Firefighters who have lost their homes. Here is the link to donate, http://www.gofundahero.com/campaign/detail/4913 🚒. The Regusci 2010 Zinfandel on the nose is; blackberries, boysenberries, dark cherries, huckleberries, poached strawberries, black licorice, baking spices, dark rich earth, dry top soil, bramble, volcanic minerals, violets, lavender and lilacs. The body is round and rich with juicy fruits. The tannins are soft and well resolved. Fruits are ripe; boysenberries, huckleberries, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, dark cherries & pomegranate. Nice baking spices; vanilla, clove and cinnamon. Rich dark earth, crushed rocks, dry top soil, soft volcanic minerals, black cherry cola/licorice, red florals, violets, light lavender, lilacs, waterfall acidity and a long, elegant, round, rich, juicy fruit finish that’s is consistent all the way through and lasts well over a minute. It’s somewhere around it’s peak with a few more years of good drinking left. Paired well with the slightly spicy Kentucky Bourbon chicken skewers. All our prays and hopes for the people in Napa and Sonoma. — 9 years ago

A 2017 Sangratino from Australia. Pinot like with an earthy, stewed rhubarb, hint of fennel nose, sour cherry palate and a bit peppery on the initial approach. Cloudy, unfiltered. We had it chilled and paired it with a spicy prawn puttanesca pasta. — 2 months ago
