Hungarian Dry White chosen by daughter Georgie. An eclectic blend of Furmint, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and 2 unspellable Hungarian varieties. Pale lemon in colour. A palate like so many of the European Whites I have had on this trip to the UK. Medium bodied with M plus intensity. Notes of Peach and Pear on the palate with low acid. Thoroughly delicious. — 5 years ago
Száraz, sok tannin, nagyon fűszeres, sok sav, száraz kekszhez jó lehet — 2 months ago

Some cedar and cooking spices, dark fruit and a little meaty leathery. Really good and well balanced. — 5 years ago

Очень интересный венгерский совиньон блан 2016 года. Куплен мной в Будапеште. Нежный, шелковистый- ушёл на ура! — 5 years ago

Finally a decent Hungarian red.
Bordeaux blend with a splash of Kekfrankos.
So Bordeaux like that blind I would have taken this straight for right bank - Castillon or St. Emilion.
Dark plums & cassis with a decent woody note.
On the palate with nice balance, grippy yet polished tannins and nice flow. Purity of fruit and nice depth. Highly drinkable even though the 15.0% alc slightly sticks out towards the finish
A nice one even if international in style. — 2 months ago
