Probably not technically as good as it tastes. This is a big, rich, flavorful wine with lots of dark fruit and high in alcohol at 15% which is most noticeable upon opening so let it breathe. I like to just sip it but also enhances food especially roasted red meats and strong cheeses with crusty bread. Wine snobs will undoubtedly be critical but so what! It’s just a good solid inexpensive wine that tastes good. Enjoy! — 4 months ago
Nose: darker Syrah fruit. Bit of sauvage. Lilacs.
Palate: licorice. Good acidity. Pretty acidic.

Oddly enough it does connect with you more each time you have some. Most enjoyable to have multiple small servings spread out over the day or a couple days. Not overbearing but still has good body. — 5 months ago

Prefer this to the Vaillons, a clearer through line with saline toward finish reminds you it’s Chablis. — 16 days ago
