Made with Syrah and Rubin grapes (A cross between Syrah and Nebbiolo)
Classic barnyard Syrah smells and a hint of cinnamon.
Edible flowers, blackberry sugarless jam, pomegranate juice, a bit lively - rounded out by whispy tannins, and citrus zest acidity. Multiple colored pepper berries linger on the finish.
An interesting and very approachable wine from the Thracian valley in Bulgaria.

A delicious light summery berry red wine. A very gentle aftertaste. Definitely a mood. Let it breathe for a while — 3 years ago
Good chilled — 4 years ago
Dark red with garnet edge. Deep Oak, black fruits, tabacco, leather, earthy. Quite high viscosity. Complexity, animal flavor. Balanced tannin and acidity. 99 @22000, AD, 240602 — 6 months ago
Love the flavour. Could do with couple more years to develop just a slightly smoother finish on palette. — 3 years ago
Great easy drinking wine if a little too sweet for me — 4 years ago

It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim.
Fruity nose of cedar, herbs, tobacco leaf, herbs, black currants, black plums, cooked cherries, spices, vanilla, licorice, cloves, mint, black pepper and light earth.
Full-bodied with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, black plums, blackberries, cedar, vanilla, spices, espresso, cola, light herbs, earth, chocolates, tobacco leaf and peppercorn.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This 8 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is already gorgeous, although still young.
Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel. Spicy and entertaining.
The 2016 was a great vintage, and it is showing. This Single Vineyard cabernet will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.

I've had a few vintages of this wine, and it always delivers.
Thank you Barry for sharing this with me.
Good by itself as a sipping wine, and will pair nicely with BBQ Meats. I paired it beef brisket.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in (65% new) French oak barrels for 18 months.
