Very bright! A wonderful crisp Sancerre! — 2 months ago
A little farmyardy on opening, but still some pleasure in this forgotten oldie from the cellar when it opened up… — a month ago
For a village bottle, very good value. Needs to breathe as I could be wrong but I smell cold maceration? Cherry dominates with subtle earthy notes! — 2 months ago
The depth of dark fruit and soft tannins made this such a an easy drinker — 5 months ago
Lovely purity of fruit. Lots of blueberries. — a month ago
Great fruit even at this age. The only issue I had besides the slight bell pepper is how rough the tannins were and the coconut on the nose. American oak? Not something i’d think Roy would use. — 2 months ago
book ends $55 soo goood — 3 months ago
Still showing a lot of tannic and acidic structure, but enough fruit to keep it in check once it had a few hours of air, youthful still, and brawny. — 5 months ago
"Odedi"
A fresh tasting White blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Still very young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly.
Light to medium in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate and complex.
Showing lemons, green apples, white flowers, grapefruits, bitter herbs, earth, spices and white pepper.
Tangy finish with limes and almonds.
Would be nice to revisit it in 3 years and see how it evolves.
A blend of 60% Roussanne, 30% Clairette and 10% Grenache Blanc.
14% alcohol by volume.
89 points.
