The Reserve To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

+1 hour decant(some fine/cloudy sediment). A remarkable dark ruby red color. On the nose: subdued notes of dark fruit, floral, menthol, loamy soil, tobacco leaf. Taste: silky, smooth wine with dark plum/cherry, dark chocolate, dried herbs, crushed rocks, and a cedar tobacco medium plus little astringent finish. — 11 days ago

Los Carneros - Napa Valley Pinot Noir 2018

Small production. RSV has under 200 acres of vineyards in 5 Carneros locations & a winery in the Stags Leap District. The wines are 100% organic. Ruby with berry, cherry & spice aromas. On the palate flavors of wild strawberry & cherry with complex spice, citrus, oak and balanced acidity. Fine soft tannins, good balance, long finish with an earthy characteristic ending with notes of vanilla spice. Nice! — a month ago

Dark ruby in color with a wide brick rim.

Beautiful nose of raspberries, cherries, currants, plums, licorice, chocolates, herbs, spices, earth, light vegetables, tobacco leaf and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with blueberries, black plums, cooked cherries, light oak, licorice, chocolates, herbs, spices, earth, light vegetables, tobacco leaf, coffee and black pepper.
