An absolutely amazing complex Italian red - hearty with some spice, earth and mature red fruit notes across the palate that just sing. Simply amazing & well structured that pairs nicely with a meal. Perfecto! — 3 years ago

Dark red plum on the nose. Rich deep flavors of black cherry, velvety soft on the tongue, low acidity, a hint of raisin at the end. A real luscious red. — 5 years ago
Loved this wine, paired perfectly with the Spanish tapas — 7 years ago
Let this one air out for a while- I was drinking mine on day 3 and it was great. Dark plum, medium + staining, medium+ viscosity on the eye. Nose sees stewed, ripe black cherries, balsamic, maybe some tobacco. Palette sees sweet cherries, medium+ acid, good deal of tannins. This wine has some heft- both in terms of mouthfeel and tannins. The finish is medium+ with medium complexity. I really enjoyed this wine- reminded me of a mix between Docetto and Chianti- interesting enough to drink solo and the extra heft is welcome. — 8 years ago
I love this wine. Delicious. Light funky fruit with a clay dryness. — a year ago
Superb nose of red berries, leather, quince and some herbal notes. The palate is very well made with a great acid drive, some red berries notes all along, some width but it's rather light and smooth on the mouthfeel. There are some tannins in the rear, a bit dusty and drying and a long fruity and fresh finish that lingers for quite some time. I had never heard about refrosco before and I read that it's pretty confidential. I will make sure to dig into it some more! — 3 years ago
First time with this grape for me. A nice, medium bodied wine with black cherry and fresh Italian prune with its skin dusting. Is that dried orange peel? Something drying. This one is all about Septembers picking these plums from my parents' old tree in the garden. Nothing too complex. I like this. — 5 years ago

I don’t have a reference point for Refosco but I do for nice, tasty wine, and this one delivers on that count. Blackberries, violets, and subtle iron-iodine notes that many Northeast reds often exhibit. Medium-bodied, moderate tannins, bright and fresh. — a year ago
Wow it's been a while since I drank wine — 3 years ago

Lighter in body but big on flavor. Medium tannins, spicy notes. Pairs well with cold weather. — 7 years ago
Dinner 3/9/18 Lisa W Josh Karen at SRV. good food wine with acids and balanced fruit with interesting somewhat earthy notes. Reasonable value there at $60. — 8 years ago

Light to medium bodied wine, pale burgundy with amber hues to the edges. Barnyard funky nose, hay, muddy earth, with hints of black cherry, fermented black plum, and some velvety vanilla notes, maybe even some beach dried seaweed. Palate is VERY fruit forward, silky, with ripe fresh strawberry all over, some wild funkiness, slight brandy hints, with some angelfood cake crust like flavors, olive oil, black olives and tar, really complex, loooong and different. — 8 months ago
