Grabbed a couple of bottles for a recent family reunion, were the first bottles emptied. Dark fruit - blackberries & plum, vanilla, smooth tannins. Hope I can find locally. — 4 years ago
Loved this wine tasted at Basil’s wine tasting. $20 with a discount. Nice caramel flavor — 5 years ago
Deep Ruby with aromas of dark red fruits, spice and notes of forest floor. On the palate flavors of blueberry and blackberry with floral, herb and oak. Fine grainy chalky tannins, lively acidity, long finish ending with fruit and mineral spice, tight, needs time. Nice! — 5 years ago
Nice and round. Silky and powerful at the same time. Nice and pleasant. Top p/q ratio. — 2 years ago
Popped and poured; consumed over three days. Best on day three. The 2019 Quivira “Q Collection” Sauvignon Blanc pours a pale straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose the wine is bursting with bright citrus fruits, fresh herbs, fresh asparagus, fennel and minerals. There is an overwhelming sense of freshness that is very attractive. On the palate the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Citrus fruits, namely grapefruit and lime, dominate accompanied by limestone-like minerals. The finish is long, zippy and satisfying. I dig this style of California Sauvignon Blanc: bright and energetic. — 4 years ago
Juicy aromas of plum and cherry...and a little spice.
Drinks nicely with juicy flavors of dark berries, cherry and oaky-spice. Lingers on the palate a bit and finishes with some spice. — 5 years ago
The cork right after opening smelled like honey, green apples, and pineapple. The nose smelled of yeast and fermented pineapple immediately after opening, but now with some time more honey and less yeast with an almost marzipan-esque smell. The palate transfers through from the cork with riper pineapple, honey and a sweeter apple. The finish is a bit of dried apricot. Acidity rushes down the sides of the tongue. This is nice with my panko crusted chicken and roasted carrots. — 6 years ago
Delicious, almost confuse for Pinot noir, not so vegetal, red fruit, great structure — 2 years ago

Vintage 2016 | This wine developed itself fine with a few years cellar. Expressive cassis, decanted three hours, afterwards very good drinking with a good structure. Pierre Ardoin - a oenologist at the Bordeaux university - makes this wine with a wink to its more reputed colleague vintners on the other side of the Gironde river. | paired with bbq, incredible good p/q. — 4 years ago
This just gets better and better. The integration and balance is sublime and with ripe dark fruit, fresh acid, and fine powdery tannin, this will age beautifully. Seamless, silky, and long. Amazing p/q with cellaring. — 4 years ago
Oak on the nose, blueberry jam, oak, dried fruit, drying in the mouth, cherries, great acidity level, rich full bodied. Paired amazingly with wild game charcuterie and cheeses. — 5 years ago
Had quite high expectations on this One, and they maybe didnt really succed. Very quite at opening, typical ganevat fruit, but very shy. Became more open with air, but never really did get all the way to where i expected it to be. Still very good wine, so elegant and charming 🧘🏼♂️ — 6 years ago
