Wow that’s a wine. Stunning aromas. Floral, spice, tar, amazing elegance and finesse. Licorice. Cherries that are so ripe and so pretty. Wow. Dried roses and fresh roses. Tar. Smoke. Spice. Wow. An insane nose. The real deal. Palate is so juicy, so concentrated, so pure and so refined. Wow. Amazing silkiness and sap. But the finesse and elegance here are top notch. Sappy red cherries and also cherry flower. Such sweet fruit. This is one of the top wines of 16. Wowsers. The level of refinement here is unreal. This is so open but has a hidden structure. Stunning. So sweet and silky. Profound and compelling. Maybe a 9.8.

Palate: sweet blackberry. Silky texture. So good.
