Pure Paso Proprietary Red Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

v20. Hard to beat Paso Red Blend. Very good! Soft, Smokey, candied nose. Fresh, deep, blackberry and soft tar fruit. Bright, peppery, chocolate and hint of leather finish. Nicely balanced… go to Red Blend. Very good! — 15 days ago

Caymus Vineyards

Special Selection Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

One of my favorites! Opened one at home to celebrate the new job and love it. Definitely best out of the cellar but second and third glass were still better than my usual. — 3 months ago

Domaine La Barroche

Cuvée Pure Châteauneuf-du-Pape Grenache

Pure. CdP. Made with 100% Grenache, this wine drank well despite its young age (2021). Too tanic on its own, but paired with steak it was dreamy. — 2 months ago

Dom Pérignon

Brut Champagne Blend 2008

#AgedWineTuesday

Light gold in color.

Nice crisp nose with limes and brioche.

Light to medium in body with medium plus acidity and small bubbles.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing citrus, yeast, minerals, bread, green apples, herbs, earth, lemon juice and white pepper.

Long finish, tasty and elegant.

This 16 year old still feels very young, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years. Rich and well balanced.

I love this vintage of Dom Perignon. Complex and interesting. I've had this vintage it a few times before, and it is very consistent.

Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with food. Good stuff.

12.5% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$350.

Carnival of Love McLaren Vale Shiraz

Deep ruby, heavy bodied - nose opens up to strawberry, spice and bubblegum. Mouth feel: blackcurrant, black pepper, liquorice, vanilla. medium acidity, well integrated tannins… very smooth to drink! — a month ago

Marcel Lapierre

Morgon Gamay 2022

It is very pure—red raspberry, red cherry, and licorice, amped up with damp soil on the nose. The palate brings more licorice/anise/tarragon vibes, with a little lilac winking on the finish. The acid is vibrant, the tannins are dusky, and the alcohol is respectful. — 22 days ago
