Super tight n saline quite bracing doesn’t let up over days powerful palate cleanser — 3 years ago
One of the less desirable vintages and still an amazing wine. Full and rich but balanced and not “hot” at all, which is impressive at 16.5% alcohol. Great example of why Martinelli Ziba can’t be beat, fits nicely between a “fancier” option to Giuseppe and Luisa but not quite as special occasion as Jackass Hill. — 4 years ago
自然派らしい味わいありつつも、バリックと言うかタンニンというか、バランスがとても良いワイン🍷 — 2 months ago
I am not a huge fan of white wines with a floral nose, but in this one it plays very well. The flowers are subtle, with an overriding minerality coming forward. That’s where I like my white wines to live. Aromas of tangerine and lemon zest are abetted by the smell of wet rocks and a trace of what smells to me like oregano. The palate is all about those minerals, with a subdued citrus flavor along for the ride. The acidity is great, perfect for something from the ocean. I paired the I Ferretti with a seafood risotto for dinner, and wished that it was on the table at lunch when I had polpo, a grilled octopus salad. — 4 years ago
This wine is pale in color and has a very expressive nose. Aromas of almonds, lemon peel and slightly candied apricot are not at all shy about leaping from the glass, along with a healthy minerality. The palate is as dry as a bone, with a ripping acidity. A strong sense of salinity runs through it. I bought it for cooking, but I will enjoy sipping while the food cooks. — 9 months ago
Peppery, leather and some tobacco, followed by blackberries. Slight frizz on the tongue. Tight. — 4 years ago
Very pleasantly delighted by this spur of the moment choice. Everything is in balance and harmony. Dark cherry nose and palate, peppery finish — 4 years ago
Another summer guzzler for $10.00, winery over $20.00 though. More acidity than the Mathis but not as much flavor. Either way both are winners at this price & release price. Save your money for big time cabernets, drink inexpensive Rose
Winery notes,
Crafted from 100% Pinot noir, the fruit for our Rosé is intentionally selected with an eye towards cooler sites which retain juicy, vibrant acidity. Stainless steel fermentation to retain the bright, fresh fruit character.
"Ethereal aromatics of magnolia, hibiscus, wild strawberry, jasmine and rainwater blend with slightly savory hints of lemon thyme and white pepper on the nose. The seamless palate of apple (think Envy or Pink Lady), slight honey notes and juicy acidity make this a refreshing, but serious Pinot noir rosé."

Totally impressed with this one .. and unexpected! This has depth and a joyful Rythm every time you sip and let it in ..
If you actually take the time to respect it as you would with a big one .. and decant it … it will start playing music for you ! truly a gem … — 7 days ago
