Brutalno vino, pio u Marble — 3 months ago
Sparkling, clear pale lemon; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and tertiary aromas of bruised yellow apples, honeysuckle, and orange blossom; on the palate, it's sweet with medium acidity, low alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and tertiary flavors of overripe pear, tangerine, and caramel with a long finish. This wine is complex, intense, and balanced. Overall, I rate this wine as outstanding. Nellie likes it with too. It paired well with spicy Popeyes chicken. — 7 months ago
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Soft nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing cherries, currants, blueberries, light oak, licorice, chocolates, tobacco leaf, herbs, peppercorn, earth and spices.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This Single Vineyard Barolo is starting to drink beautifully now, but still very young. Elegant, tangy and nicely balanced. Complex and entertaining.
Needs a couple of hours to open up properly. Soft and smooth, once it opens up.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 7 years and see how it evolves.
A great sipping wine that I really enjoyed with food too.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

An absolutely incredible single vineyard Brunello from a landmark vintage. Dark ruby color with a slight brick rim. Aromas of forest floor, bramble fruit, tar and dried herbs. Flavors of black cherry, tobacco, black licorice and coffee. Long and luxurious finish and just enough velvety tannin to enhance and lengthen the experience. Medium-plus body and perfectly balanced acidity. Powerful, yet beautifully well structured. Still incredibly vibrant. Sangiovese at its finest! This wine has a personality all its own. Thanking Petey for making this incredible selection. Happy Birthday, Kase! — 3 months ago
An absolutely fantastic single vineyard Brunello. Dark ruby color with a slight brick colored fade on the rim. Fragrant aromas of red berries, tobacco, leather and purple flowers. Flavors of ripe red and black cherries, coffee, black licorice and minerals. Distinct note of forest floor on the long lasting and luxurious finish. Full bodied. Silky tannins and impeccable balance. Powerful, yet quite suave, polished and sophisticated. Aging beautifully and should continue to improve. Absolutely outstanding! Thank you Kase for the wonderful gift! — 4 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2021 “Del Comune de La Morra” pours a brilliant garnet color with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing and redolent with bright, fresh red fruits: framboise, Morello cherry, freshly paved asphalt, trampled rose petals, a kiss of VA, and dry gravelly earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. A wine you just want to smell for an eternity. Brilliant. This enjoys a lot of air and I expect will have a very long life. Drink now with patience through 2061. Thanks @Lyle Fass for the assist! — 6 months ago

Delicious, quaffable Barbera.
Lots of layers for a grape that never has the respect like its neighbors. Black plum, red plum, black peppercorn, green cardamom, and so much drinkability. Not one to share- be selfish and open this one on one of those solo nights! — 7 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of several hours. The 2023 “San Bartolomeo” pours a deep ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. This really needed air and showed better after an hour+ of being open. What unfurled was an elegant and quite beautiful expression of Dolcetto showing notes of fresh black berries, blueberries, purple flowers with the stems, a mix of dried herbs and warm spices with dry gravelly earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is medium+ and slightly savory. A precise and technically brilliant Dolcetto. Drink now through 2030. Thanks for the assist @Lyle Fass — 7 months ago
