Popped and poured, the 2020 pours a deep ruby with near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with dark fruits with brambles and cassis, tobacco, just a touch of green bell pepper, earth, and baking spice. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming notes from the nose. The finish is medium+.
