Annual guys WTF Christmas party with spouses. Lots of great wine. I’ll post my highlights with pics I got.
6L of champagne! Pouring this thing was crazy. A very classic and down the middle champagne that is normally consistent. Bright stone fruits on the nose with creamy caramel dipped Granny Smith apple slices. Chalky limestone notes on the palate with powdered lemon bar sweetness at the finish. — a month ago
Refreshingly dry. Yeasty, tight bubbles. Pear and meyer lemon. Crisp and a wonderful bottle of bubbles. — a month ago
Outstanding smooth yet complex — 4 days ago
Freshly baked sourdough, white flowers, blanched almonds, tart cherries, and green apple. Dry and crisp. All wrapped up in a beautiful pale salmon hue with lively effervescence. #laurentperrierrose #laurentperrier #champagne #newyearsweekend #getaway #frenchchampagne #rosechampagne #methodechampenoise #winetime #winedown2019 #holidays #aurevoir2019 #boldnorthmn — a month ago
The newest release and first 2012 vintage champagne I’ve tried. It’s very linear at this early stage, still sharp as a tack with high acidity and structure masking a lot of the fruit. Very good potential, but I wouldn’t open for at least 5 more years. — 2 months ago
