Superb Pecorino. Minerals, mouth watering avidity, herbs. — 4 months ago
A fun blend of mostly Dolcetto and splash of Gewurztraminer, the 2022 “La Lupa” pours and bright orangish ruby color with medium viscosity and no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with remarkably fragrant notes of white and purple flowers, watermelon, maraschino cherry, kiwi, pine needles, and wet rocks. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium- tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. Finish is medium. This is an unbelievable quaffable wine. Is this Glou Glou or is this serious? Nicoletta answered, “why not both?” Drink now and good luck keeping the glass down. — 6 months ago
Abruzzo’s attempt at a biodynamic white Burgundy - and quite a successful one!
Burgundian nose - elegant, fresh, quite cool. Yellow stone fruit, a bit of golden delicious apple, subtly oaked. Very inviting.
On the palate this is fresh, vibrant, just a bit funky - a bit of bruised apple, some yellow stone fruit, nice mineral backbone adding complexity & freshness.
This is really good - never would have guessed they could make such an elegant Chardonnay so far south in Italy. — 5 months ago

A nicely acidic nose of tart raspberry and ripe red fruits. The palate is equally acidic, with a slight “sour warhead” characteristic, with flavors of ripe red fruits, tart cherries, and lemon notes but with a slight funky undertone that may be a result of the natural fermentation. I enjoyed this, fizzy and fun, high brunch recommendation, on its own, enjoy it as is. — 3 years ago

Surprisingly dry, but nicely balanced, with a prominent nose of ripe red fruit, underripe dark cherry, forest floor and musty, funky, and maybe even some notes of tobacco smoke or barbecue sauce. Medium bodied, with a nice balance of jammy fruit and minerality with prominent tannin and notes of graphite, grape jelly, and a balanced minerality freshness with a mouth coating finish. — a month ago
