Vino Rosato Concrete

Bright, effervescence, lighthearted,a splendid rosato. Don't know why it's not called a cerasuolo d'abruzzo? Maybe due to regional limitations? Not sure of the vintage either cause 23'&24' are both on the labels. — 3 months ago

Le Cince Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo

Bellísimo. To my chagrin, not Cerasuola the Sicilian blend but Cerasuola d’Abruzzo (Montepeluciano). Still - rusty red, fruit punch jolly rancher with herbs and lot of effervescence. Like the native yeast here. Another out of mold rose. Enjoying end of summer at in laws pool with Farottos. — 5 years ago

gusto
acidita perche bocca saliva. sensazione tattile della acidita. molto lungo in bocca e sapido. chiusura amaricante, amara.

Prologo Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2016

Really good expression, a little tight, disappointing fruit for supposed hype, unfortunately was side by side with EP. — 7 years ago

Platt Vineyard Pinot Noir 2009

What a pleasant surprise to find Nicoletta Ceccoli’s work on a wine label! As for the wine itself, I found it juicy (floral for sure) yet lacking body. Nevertheless, a nice wine. — 9 years ago

La Lupa Langhe Dolcetto Traminette Rosato 2022

A fun blend of mostly Dolcetto and splash of Gewurztraminer, the 2022 “La Lupa” pours and bright orangish ruby color with medium viscosity and no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with remarkably fragrant notes of white and purple flowers, watermelon, maraschino cherry, kiwi, pine needles, and wet rocks. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium- tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. Finish is medium. This is an unbelievable quaffable wine. Is this Glou Glou or is this serious? Nicoletta answered, “why not both?” Drink now and good luck keeping the glass down. — 2 years ago

Mino Vino Rosso di Montagna Fermo 2020

A nicely acidic nose of tart raspberry and ripe red fruits. The palate is equally acidic, with a slight “sour warhead” characteristic, with flavors of ripe red fruits, tart cherries, and lemon notes but with a slight funky undertone that may be a result of the natural fermentation. I enjoyed this, fizzy and fun, high brunch recommendation, on its own, enjoy it as is. — 5 years ago

Nicoletta Rosé of Pinot Noir

A playful rose with ripe strawberries and hints of rose petal. Full and inviting on the finish with a hint of Bing. Lovely expression, dry yet tart. Cranberry, raspberry and more. Pair with spicy, charcuterie, seafood and tacos. — 9 years ago
