Nose was mostly floral with some stoney minerality and herbs. The palate leads with honeysuckle nectar and white flowers. The fruit is the usual mosel riesling mix of apples and pears that veer toward peach and stone fruit on the quite lengthy finish. Tasty and elegant. — 5 years ago

One of my favorites from the brand! — 6 years ago

Stupendous. Creamy, lemon meringue and apricot nectar caramel. Nice balancing act that included enough acidity to keep in dancing on the tongue. It’s crazy expensive to make these wines. I’m always glad when I share one. Different from d’Yquem but every bit as great. — 8 years ago

Not typically a huge fan of the sweeter stuff, normally a brut drinker, but this is good when paired with salty desserts. Pale yellow, with some floral aromatics dancing out. Great bubbles. Medium bodied. Honeyed pears, apricots, green apples proliferating through each sip. Not much to disagree with. — a year ago
It’s a slightly sweeter version of an already awesome proper French Champagne. Dial back a smudge on the brut and just tweak the dial on a natural sweetness and viola! Nectar imperial! If you were giving someone their very first glass of champagne, I’d recommend this one - the sweetness will win a lot of tongues! — 5 years ago
I love this one. It is a good wine to enjoy anytime. Vino jerez. — 6 years ago
Delicious dessert wine, I love this chateau and the 2006 vintage is lovely and demonstrates the elegance of Sauternes, deep gold color, enchanting nose of: key lime ,marmalade mandarin , orange peal, minerals, dried apricot, honey, canned peach, honeydew melon, citrus blossom, and honeysuckle, full body, creamy texture and lovely sweetness balanced by pleasant acidity and delightful sweet nectar finish. My score 91, drink in small format to 2023 , normal format to 2030 — 7 years ago

Vintage 2012. Bought at sg airport. Opened 3rd july 2018. Aired 30mins. Heavy legs. Reddish purple. Tinge of sweet and caramelised nose, leatherly peppery. Medium acidity to palate, followed by very light sweetness, then spices, followed by caramel sweet and light bitterness. Flavourful. Medium smooth tannin. Medium long finishing with sweetness on the buccal. — 8 years ago
