Rich and pliant, this is a gorgeous wine. Pineapple and apricot. A burst of acidity. Perfect balance. Yet delicious.

Served with fois gras at Lafayette, NYC.

So crisp, delightfully sweet without the heaviness of lesser Sauternes.

Clear clean golden with rich hue of honey

Complex pronounced aromas of honey and botrytis. Pear and flower aromas behind the botrytis. Honey suckle and fig.

High acidity and full body round out an intensely complex wine. The initial burst of alcohol and acidity is displaced by a lingering fig and honey flavour. The sweetness of the fruit flavour is balanced by the high acidity.

Liquid sunshine is an apt descriptor.

2006 vintage was not different from its 100point vintages. How consistent this beauty one is!

What's not to love? Always the best pairing with seared froi gras. Beautiful golden honey amber color with the taste to back it up.
