2018 vintage. 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. Nathalie d'Espagne took over in 2013 and the wines have gained in finesse ever since. Organically farmed since 2009. Beautiful nose with flowers, crushed strawberries, coffee, and subtle spices. In the mouth it displays juicy red fruit, spices and an intriguing minerality on the finish. Fine length too. Interesting wine. Beautiful stemmy aromas of roses, red fruit, hint of licorice, blackberries, hint of dark chocolate. Concentrated and with a fine tannin that is persistent through the long finish. This is a very cool wine done in somewhat of a modern style. — 2 years ago
