2020 vintage. A fave CA chard and producer. Medium-medium heavy body. Tasting slightly more tropical and advanced with less acidity than usual. Still absolutely delicious tho. Would like to retaste and reevaluate in 5-6 months tho. Based on 30 vintages of tasting this particular wine, betting it reconciles any tawdry, fleeting concerns that occupy my compromised palate and right quick. 01.22.25. — 2 months ago
Really interesting Pinot. This wine is very young and should age very well. Deep ruby color lots of fruit and a lot more tannins. When I opened the bottle the tannins were over bearing and had a grassy aftertaste. When I tasted the same bottle the next day it was FAR more balanced. The fruit was still great but the tannins were much softer and well balanced. This wine can hold up to more cellar time but if I had decanted it would have been better. While this wine was pretty pricey ($100), I think it is worth it! — 2 months ago
Beautiful Syrah. Cranberry and leather and earth. So complex. Earth and red fruit nose. A paradigm of Syrah. — 8 days ago
13.0% ABV Dark purple color. Nice oak . Very good wine. Paired w/ beef bourguignon. — 13 days ago
This wine has a nice complexity with mineralogy and nice fruit (cherry) and tobacco on the palate. It all comes together with a strong long finish! Nice legs too! — 2 months ago
A stunner. The way Zinfandel should be made. — 5 days ago
Sour cherry; woodsy; spice mix of cloves and cinnamon. Well integrated and restrained. This is great stuff and a great value at the price. — 2 months ago

Garagiste mystery. Really happy about this one. Rhys, pax, Arnot roberts, and Jolie laide style. Olives, dark fruits, stewed tomato, rosemary. So freaking perfect with steak. Brightness of fruit and acidity seemed to improve with a few hours of air. Maybe blew off some reduction or funk? Love it. — 12 days ago
