Really interesting Pinot. This wine is very young and should age very well. Deep ruby color lots of fruit and a lot more tannins. When I opened the bottle the tannins were over bearing and had a grassy aftertaste. When I tasted the same bottle the next day it was FAR more balanced. The fruit was still great but the tannins were much softer and well balanced. This wine can hold up to more cellar time but if I had decanted it would have been better. While this wine was pretty pricey ($100), I think it is worth it! — 4 days ago
Deep cherry red. Black currant. Vanilla. Gentle aroma. Silky tannin. Superb balance among sweetness, spiciness and acidity. Full of elegance. Mount Eden Cabernet Sauvignon Estate 17 @13750, Yang, 241222 — 14 days ago

Damn, that’s good!
i’ve rated this wine before – this exact vintage – and I gave it lower ratings. I don’t know if this wine is just improving with age or my taste buds are changing, but this is among the top Pinots I’ve ever had. I’m giving it a 9.6 this time around. This is the best that Willamette has to offer. And it’s better than 99% of the other Pinots I’ve tasted. If you like tight pucker-arsed Pinots this is NOT for you. Absolutely luscious! — 16 days ago
Love me some Kutch! Great acid, lemon curd. — 12 days ago

Presented double-blind. The wine appears a straw color; medium viscosity with no signs of sediment. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of orchard fruit: apples, lemon curd, nuts and lees. Lavishly oaked. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and lovely. I called Chardonnay from the United States, California, Napa Valley 2019. So close! Drink now through 2029. — 8 days ago
